"I have developed these Styles over the years ranging from commercial, live music, and travel photography. They have become an essential part of my tool kit and save time in my workflow."
- Dan Robinson
WHY ESSENTIAL STYLES?
Even the best photographer can sometimes feel lost when it comes to the initial stages of editing an image. By having a selection of Styles ready at hand, you can quickly get inspired to find the desired direction to go with your image.
A Style in Capture One is a pre-made set of adjustments you can be apply to your images with a single click, speeding up your workflow and creating consistency across your work.
There are tons and tons of color presets out there, you can spend an entire day digging and comparing trying to find the best one for you. Sometimes they say they offer 120+ different presets in a pack and "today only" it's on sale for 90% off. Be honest...you know the time hasn't been put into each and every one of those tools. Who even needs 120 different presets?
You want a core set of high quality tools that give you consistent results, speed up your workflow, and elevate your images. These Capture One Styles fill that role.
9 essential Styles and 8 grain variations to process images inside of Capture One reliably and consistently every time. I have developed and tweaked them over the years to fine tune the results.
These 9 Styles and 8 Presets are the ones I use on a day to day basis for everything from personal snapshots to live music and advertising

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN STYLES AND PRESETS?
You may have heard the term "preset" before. It came from Adobe Lightroom but over time has been used by many apps as a way of describing different color processing of a photo. This pack has been developed for Capture One, an industry standard desktop application. Similar to Lightroom, Capture One organizes and processes RAW images from a shoot, however, the terms are slightly different.
“Styles” in Capture One are what you probably think of as presets. They are a formula of multiple tools that effect the overall image, color, levels, curves, etc. The "Style" will change the overall tone of the photo.
“Presets” in Capture One effect a single aspect of the image. In the case for this pack, The included presets are grain variations which allow you to add different levels and types of grainy texture before you export.
When used together Capture One Styles and Presets are a powerful combination that make image processing fast, consistent, and reliable. You can apply the settings to a single image or across an entire shoot in just a few clicks.
Shoot, import, apply style, adjust exposures, and export. Finished and ready to send.
